Kolej Kediaman Pertama (KK1) – Tunku Abdul Rahman

Kolej Kediaman Pertama is the oldest residential college at Universiti Malaya, established in 1959. Known as the ASTAR college, it is named after Malaysia's first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman. The college consists of three main blocks and remains a historic landmark on campus.

KK1 is currently open and accepting student residents. The college is located at 825, Lingkungan Budi within the UM campus. Students at KK1 enjoy a strong sense of community, with regular college events, sports activities, and academic support programmes throughout the academic year.

Kolej Kediaman Kedua (KK2) – Tuanku Bahiyah

Kolej Kediaman Kedua, officially known as Kolej Kediaman Tuanku Bahiyah (KKTB), is one of the most active and popular residential colleges at Universiti Malaya. The college has an active Facebook community with over 2,800 followers and regularly hosts events to engage residents.

KKTB is situated close to the main campus facilities and provides comfortable accommodation for both new and returning students. The college boasts well-maintained common areas, a cafeteria, sports facilities, and an active student committee (Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Kolej Kediaman).

Kolej Kediaman Ketiga (KK3) – Tunku Kurshiah

Kolej Kediaman Ketiga is named after Tunku Kurshiah and forms part of the historic first group of residential colleges established at Universiti Malaya. KK3 is currently open and serves hundreds of undergraduate students each academic session.

The college provides standard accommodation facilities and is well-positioned on campus, offering convenient access to lecture halls, libraries, and student amenities. Like all UM residential colleges, KK3 upholds the university's values of academic excellence and campus community life.
